I graduated with a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in 2018, with a concentration in research methodology. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the University of Notre Dame Counseling Center with a focus in the mind-body connection. Prior to internship, I completed practicums at BSU's community mental health practicum clinic, BSU's Counseling Center, Anderson University's Counseling Center, and the University of Dayton's Counseling Center. I have been independently licensed as a health service provider in psychology (HSPP) in Indiana since 2019 and a part of PsyPact since 2024. In order to maintain the license and certification, I am required to complete continuing education. So, I am always refining my skills and have a particular interest in stress, anxiety, and trauma, which you can learn more about in my "Individual Therapy" section.

Charlie, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, will join us for in-person counseling sessions. She has been coming to therapy with me since 2021. She is well-trained and eager for affection. Please take this into consideration when deciding if I am the right fit for you, especially if you are allergic or unable to be around dogs.

A psychologist holds a doctorate in a specific area of psychology. For me, I have a doctorate in counseling psychology. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor who has advanced training in treating mental illness. They can prescribe medication; whereas most psychologists cannot. If you work with me and need referrals for medication management, I am happy to help.
